โข Black numbers – tested the same as pre-test results
โข Green numbers – tested lower as pre-test results
โข Red numbers – tested higher than pre-test results
Although not a clean sweep, as far as all the numbers still match pre and post-test results, these are within measuring tolerances test to test.
Simply, there was no measurable change in leak down numbers for the cylinders running Ring Free, and no change for the cylinders running standard Unleaded fuel.
Below are the spark plugs immediately removed and photographed after the Ring Free test was completed, they are clearly marked.
Although there is cylinder to cylinder variation, simply, there is no clear indication that the Ring Free has removed, or even started to decarbonize the spark plugs.
The XTO engine will now be removed from the engine dynamometer, power head removed and the engine placed on an engine stand for disassembly.
Once disassembled, piston crowns, ring lands, combustion chambers and valves will be inspected from bank to bank, and photographed.
This should clearly show if the Ring Free has had any impact.
Stay tuned, this process will be about 3 weeks before the final results are posted. so we ask you to please be patient!
