I bought a new to me 2010 Bennington 2250 RCW with a Yamaha 200 SHO in 2022 with 238 hours on it.
I have seen different posts about NizPro tunes for Yamaha V6 SHO engines and realized that my 200 could be tuned to 332 HP for less than a grand.
I contacted NizPro in Australia and they recommended Sage Wiley of Fathom Marine – they said he’s the man for doing the engine flash on pontoons and tritoons. Sage included his advice on getting the boat properly propped after the flash.
His extensive experience with Yamaha – both sales and service, and “toon” knowledge was a huge benefit assisting my prop selection to optimize the results.
I’m very pleased with the process, results and working with Sage.
I also had my engine oil analyzed after 20 hours of use after the flash and received an absolute clean bill of health on the state of the motor, which is really good peace of mind!
